How to use the pressure gauge?

Preparation:

Read the Manual: Before use, familiarize yourself with the specific instructions provided by the manufacturer of the pressure gauge.

Gather Safety Gear: Wear safety goggles and gloves to protect against any accidental spray or leakage from the aerosol can.

01

Check the Gauge:

Inspect the Gauge: Ensure that the pressure gauge is clean, in good condition, and free from any damage.

Zero the Gauge: Before measuring, check if the gauge reads zero. If not, adjust it to zero by following the manufacturer's instructions.

02

Prepare the Aerosol Can:

Select the Right Can: Choose the aerosol can you wish to test.

Position the Can: Hold the aerosol can upright and stable to avoid any accidental discharge during measurement.

03

Connect the Gauge:

Attach the Gauge: Depending on the design of the gauge, either:

Insert the probe into the valve opening of the aerosol can (if applicable).

Or, if the gauge uses a specific attachment, securely attach it to the aerosol can's valve. Ensure a tight fit to prevent any gas leakage during measurement.

04

Take the Measurement:

Open the Valve: Slowly press down on the aerosol can's valve to release a small amount of gas into the gauge. This step will allow the pressure gauge to read the internal pressure accurately.

Observe the Reading: Watch the dial on the gauge as it indicates the pressure. Note the reading once it stabilizes.

05

Record the Measurement:

Document the Pressure: Write down the pressure reading for quality control records. This documentation helps maintain consistency and safety in production.

06

Disconnect the Gauge:

Close the Valve: Release the valve on the aerosol can to stop the gas flow.

Remove the Gauge: Carefully disconnect the gauge from the aerosol can, ensuring not to let any residual pressure escape abruptly.

07

Post-Measurement Procedures:

Check for Leaks: After disconnecting, visually inspect both the gauge and the aerosol can for any leaks or damage.

Clean the Gauge: Wipe the gauge with a clean cloth if needed, ensuring it is ready for future use.

Store Properly: Store the gauge in a safe place to prevent any damage and ensure its longevity.
